MediaClaw Debuts Agentic AI Platform to Automate Public Relations
MediaClaw's agentic PR platform uses AI agents to research, draft, approve and measure press campaigns — starting at $1,000/month, in private beta targeting 100 customers in Q4.
What happened
MediaClaw, which describes itself as the "Agentic PR Operating System," debuted on October 16 ahead of PRSA ICON in Orlando. Its AI agents research companies, draft and edit press materials, route approvals, build media databases, run outreach, and report coverage with sentiment scoring — while people keep the key decisions.
A compliance mode flags SEC, FDA, and FTC issues. Pricing starts at $1,000 per month for the Standard plan (one login, one agent), with Team from $3,000 and Enterprise from $5,000 per month. As of launch, the product is in invitation-only private beta, targeting its first 100 customers in Q4 2026. The company named no customers.
Why this matters
PR is the latest knowledge-work function getting the agentic treatment — and it is a perfect candidate. Public relations is a pipeline: research, draft, approve, distribute, measure. Every step is structured, repetitive, and currently done by expensive humans on retainer.
MediaClaw's design choices reveal where the market is heading: humans keep the decisions (strategy, approvals, relationships), agents do the production. The compliance mode is the smart move — in regulated industries, AI-written press materials without SEC/FDA/FTC checks are a lawsuit waiting to happen.
What this means for your business
PR retainers are about to get cheaper — or justify themselves. A $1,000/month agent doing media research and draft production will force PR agencies to prove their value is strategy and relationships, not volume. If you pay a PR retainer, ask what portion is production work an agent could do.
Sentiment-scored coverage reports change the game. Automated coverage reporting with sentiment scoring means faster feedback loops on every announcement. Small businesses that could never afford PR measurement suddenly get enterprise-grade visibility into what the press is saying.
Compliance is the feature that matters most. The SEC/FDA/FTC flag mode is what separates a toy from a tool. Whatever AI tools you adopt for public-facing content, demand built-in compliance checking — one wrong claim in a press release costs more than any subscription saves.
The caution
No customers named, invitation-only beta, no general availability date. MediaClaw is selling a vision, not a proven product. Watch the first 100-customer cohort in Q4 before committing — and keep this story next to Treasure AI's Digital Worker announcement: the agentic marketing suite is arriving fast, and vendor claims are running ahead of proof.
