ElevenLabs Valued at $22B as Voice Agents Handle 15M Conversations a Week

ElevenLabs closed a $300M employee tender at a $22B valuation as its voice agents handle 15M+ conversations weekly, with enterprises driving 55% of revenue.

ElevenLabs hits $22B valuation as enterprises go all-in on voice agents

Voice AI has officially crossed into big-enterprise territory. ElevenLabs has completed a $300 million employee tender offer that values the company at $22 billion — roughly double the $11 billion valuation from its February Series D — as demand for conversational AI agents surges across financial services, telecom, and government.

The secondary transaction was co-led by Wellington Management and T. Rowe Price, with participation from EQT, Goldman Sachs, GIC, Andreessen Horowitz, Lightspeed, ICONIQ Growth, and others. Note what a tender is: employees sell existing shares to investors for liquidity. It adds no new capital to the company's balance sheet, but a $22 billion price tag backed by this roster is a loud signal about where smart money thinks voice agents are going.

### The enterprise numbers behind the valuation

ElevenLabs says its agents now handle more than 15 million live conversations every week — triple the volume from February. Enterprise customers generate 55% of revenue, and the client list reads like a who's who: five of the world's ten largest tech companies, five top-tier global insurers, four leading telecoms, plus names like Stripe, Deutsche Telekom, Admiral, and DoorDash's SevenRooms — and even the sovereign governments of Ukraine and Greece.

The company recently launched its Eleven v4 and v4 Turbo text-to-speech models, which natively speak, listen, and translate across more than 90 languages. Its ElevenAgents orchestration engine plugs into an enterprise's private databases and customer software stacks to deploy context-aware digital voices that handle refunds, renew insurance policies, and book appointments.

### Voice is the agent interface customers actually use

Chat agents live in a browser tab. Voice agents answer the phone, and the phone is still where high-value customer interactions happen. ElevenLabs's growth — 3x conversations in eight months, majority-enterprise revenue — shows voice agents have moved from novelty to a line item in customer-operations budgets.

### What this means for your business

If your customers call you, a voice agent belongs in your roadmap. Takeaways:

- Start with your highest-volume call types. Refunds, appointment booking, policy renewals — the repetitive calls that burn out staff are the ones voice agents handle best. - Connect the agent to your real systems. The difference between a demo and a deployment is database access. Agents that can check an order, update a record, and confirm in real time are the ones enterprises are paying for. - Multilingual support is now table stakes. With models covering 90+ languages, there's no reason your phone experience should be English-only if your customers aren't. - Watch the retention signal. ElevenLabs is using employee liquidity to keep talent — a sign the company expects the war for voice-AI expertise to intensify. If you're building in-house, budget for that competition.
